About Us This site is dedicated to a group of people who gather at Cornerstone Festival annually. We stay in the Middle Earth section on the map, right next to the Cornerstone Midway. The first year we went with 5 people with the intentions of meeting 2 or 3 more there. When we got to Cornerstone we met Byron who was setting up camp right next to us. He borrowed a hammer and later that day moved to our campsite. His friends stayed in our campsite and they quickly became our friends too. We ended up with about 15 people staying in our campsite that first year. We met several other people that Monday evening which we became fast friends with as well. Some stayed with us and some just hung out with us a lot. Every year we continue to make new friends and grow our camp. We fed anyone we could with what we had and when we had left-overs we met more people by giving the left-overs out to anyone who wanted them. We took a grill with us and used it to cook dinner every night. We had a full kitchen setup for the most part. Most mornings we made breakfast, including eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes, plus all the cereal, Pop-Tarts, and other breakfast foods you could want. We had all kinds of snack foods and sandwich stuff for lunch, and who could forget the Mountain Dew. I think we went through about 20 cases of Mountain Dew that week. Food is one of the best ways to make friends and to keep the ones you have. We ate like kings and queens that week including steak, chicken, kielbasa, and of course hot dogs and hamburgers. When we go camping we go in style. If you want to come camp with us just look for the truck in the picture below. You can't miss the big yellow box in the back. You will also see our banners hanging up in our campsite.
