Manners
are a good thing...

First and foremost, follow the rules of Cornerstone. They are in place to keep everyone safe and to make the week as enjoyable as possible for all. This includes, but is not limited to, no fireworks (fire and saftey hazzard), no open fires (fires must be contained in a metal fire pit, grill, or camp stove), no guns (including AirSoft), no alcohol or drugs, and keep your driving to a minimum (if you must drive around rent a golf cart - get info here, or bring your own).

Rides to and from Cornerstone are appreciated by those who can't drive or can't afford to drive there. In return for a ride being offered try to help pay for gas and even buy the driver a meal or two to show your appreciation. If you are camping together don't forget to help set up camp.

Once you make it to Cornerstone and you find your campsite make sure you park off the road to help ease traffic and keep your vehicle from being hit. Try not to crowd your neighbors and if someone asks you to move do so without complianing or arguing (Philippians 2:14). Make friends with your neighbors and help keep an eye on their stuff so they will do the same for you.

Try to remember that not everyone has the same values as you do and you should be ready to be offended. "I'm giving you a new commandment: Love each other in the same way that I have loved you." - John 13:34 Some of the people at Cornerstone only came because a friend invited them and this may be the first time that they are introduced to Christianity so keep that in mind. There is nothing greater than when a seeker finds Christ and we should all try to accept people where they are. We should love the sinner just not the sin.

Those good old phrases that our parents taught us like "please" and "thank you" go a long way when you are spending a week in a field with 25,000 other people. Let's show the world the love of Christ during Cornerstone.
